OPERATOR SAFETY TRAINING
Course Objective:
This wheel loader training program is designed to meet the needs of wheel loader operators. The program addresses the following issues:
Safety Guidelines
Safety Hazards
- Diesel exhaust
- Heat
- Noice
Wheel & Track Loader Operation
- Maching Orientation
- Start-up & shutdown procedures
- Machine operation
- Estimating loader production
Transporting & Securing Loads
- Transporting, inspecting & securing cargo
- Transporting heavy equipment
- Tie down assemblies
Course Structure:
This comprehensive wheel loader training program consists of the following:
- Classroom training on the theory of wheel loader operation. Includes the use of workbooks and videos.
- Hands on operation of the wheel loader.
- Performance by the participant of the following:
- Daily inspection procedure.
- Site inspection for hazards.
- Demonstration of safe operation of the machine
- Completion of a quiz on all aspects of the operation of the equipment as well as the regulations relating to the safe operation of the equipment.
Course Duration:
- 1 Day Experienced Operators (8 hours)
- On-site training only
- Typical group size 6-10 participants

RE-QUALIFICATION
TRAINING
Course Objective:
This wheel and track loader safety training program is designed to ensure that operator knowledge and practical skills continue to meet current safety standards and regulations. The program is ideal for all operators as it is designed to reinforce the importance of proper handling techniques.
Course Structure:
This comprehensive wheel loader refresher program consists of the following:
- Classroom training on the theory of wheel loader operation. Includes the use of workbooks and video.
- Hands on operation and practical evaluation of operator skills.
Course Duration:
- 4-5 hours (depending on number of participants)

IN-HOUSE INSTRUCTOR TRAINING
Course Objective:
This wheel loader safety training program is designed to meet the needs of Wheel Loader operators, regardless of brand. This comprehensive wheel loader training course gives the student the skills to run an effective course by:
- Introducing them to the principles of safe operation of a wheel loader
- Training them to present the material in a classroom situation
- Instructing the student how to evaluate another operator’s driving skills
- Teaching the student how to set-up an appropriate test area for students
- Introducing the student to the regulatory bodies governing wheel loader operators
- Explaining proper record keeping
Course Structure:
This comprehensive track and wheel loader training program educates the individual to train effectively in the following areas:
- National & Provincial Safety Standards
- Theory and Hands-on Instruction
- Controls and Functions
- Steering and Maneuverability
- Proper Machine Inspection
- Safety guidelines and hazard recognition
- Safe Load Handling Techniques
